The dtSearch product line can instantly search terabytes of text across a desktop, network, Internet or Intranet site. dtSearch products also serve as tools for publishing, with instant text searching, large document collections to Web sites or portable media. Developers can embed dtSearch's instant searching and file format support into their own applications.
The dtSearch product line features more than 25 full-text and fielded data search options, including federated searching, special forensics search options, and advanced data classification objects. dtSearch products highlights hits in a wide range of data, using dtSearch's own file parsers and converters.
File format support includes MS Office through current versions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), OpenOffice, ZIP, HTML, XML/XSL, PDF and more. Supported email formats include Exchange, Outlook, Thunderbird and other popular email types, along with nested and ZIP attachments. The dtSearch Spider supports static and dynamic web data like ASP.NET, MS SharePoint, CMS, PHP, etc.
The dtSearch Engine has native 64-bit and 32-bit Win / Linux APIs for C++, Java and .NET (through current versions). APIs support SQL, including BLOB data. The dtSearch Engine also has a .NET Spider API. Content extraction only licenses available.
