Territory Acount Manager

General Summary:

TechXtend, an IT solution provider specializing in the areas of Security, Disaster Recovery, Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud Solutions and Services, Client Computing and Virtualization, is seeking experienced sales professionals to help build our value-added reseller (VAR) business. This is a great time to seize the opportunity to build and manage a client base for our IT infrastructure software, hardware, and services offerings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Building and managing a corporate and or public-sector account base
  • Prospecting and developing new business within a defined territory
  • Expanding existing business, maintaining customer relationships based on first-tier customer service and product knowledge
  • Achieving and exceeding sales goals
  • Maintaining activities in internal CRM

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Possessing current IT industry related sales experience within a reseller environment
  • Strong account and opportunity management experience
  • Strong customer-focused and organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT industry sales experience of 3+ years preferably within a reseller environment with emphasis on B-to-B sales
